The second park of the day was Lertao. This is a popular water park and beach with an area at the front of the park set aside for some amusement rides including 2 generic coasters.
The first was another dragon, this one was unique in that it gave lateral whiplash at the exit to the first helix.
The second coaster was similar mouse copy to the one in Happy Valley with standard mouse track and maurer Sohne cloned cars. Once again this ride offered minimum spinning opportunity and seemed to really crawl around the top section of the track.
Aside from the coasters the park is all about getting wet it would seem. Whilst we were queueing for the second coaster the central plaza become the stage to a maori rain dance before hundreds of fountains all kicked in and hundreds of people rushed in for a water fight that seemed to go on for around 15 minutes. It was a lot of fun to watch and I certainly wasn't close enough to be attacked by someone chucking water from a bucket.
Lertao is a very pretty park, perfectly located next to the beach. This surprisingly given the weather didn't feel as busy as Nandaihe.
This park is located along the coast approximately 8 miles east from the centre of Qinghuangdao
