Giving up with Sun Park we thought we'd then check out Beijing Amusement Park. This park used to be very popular until the management company went bankrupt and the park closed earlier this year. It was on the original itinerary but obviously had to be dropped.
The park is now in a decrepit state and pretty sad. Rather strangely women were being allowed in, I guess to work there in some capacity. Photographer enthusiasts weren't so lucky and were turned away. So we walked the perimeter for a bit to see what we could find.

If it ever opens again the park can be found approximately half a mile east from Tiantandongmen station on line 5.
