After a quick stop at the hotel to drop off our luggage we then headed to a third park. Gongqing Forest Park. This is located out NE of the city in a wonderful wooded area.
The best entrance to a park ever? We were well behaved but the urge to push someone off the bridge was most definitely there!
The park has a mixture of rides and attractions...Paintball?
There are 3 coasters here, 2 are to the right as you enter. You can't miss the big white corkscrew ride. It's similar to the one in Sun Park but a little rougher.
Next to that is another Jungle Mouse coaster, which offered not much more than the others we'd already ridden on the trip. Aoyun was still the best one though!
Next to these two rides is a fun non-coaster ride. It's one of those bobkart rides which for those that don't know are powered sled thingies. This one, whilst short was the first I'd done through a forest, which was cool. 200 yuan for one person or 300 for 2.
The third coaster isn't in this part of the park. You need to walk about 400 metres to the left as you enter. It's up by the log flume. This was a dragon coaster but on a wacky worm track, a strange combo we named the Wacky Dragon. It was a little odd and fortunately just a single lap in length.
I did like this park and it was a shame we couldn't see more of of. I like forested parks because of the shade, which was a blessing given the heat and I think the extra oxygen makes for a more pleasant experience.

Airgun shooting?
